Consumed by Facebook

Facebook Facebook damn facebook.
It's totally consuming me. I've totally neglected my blog. Boo, I'm sorry to my readers!!!!
I guess I can't blame it all on facebook but life has just been busy lately. I forgot how busy it is when a little baby becomes so curious and then when I'm not running after Cohen I'm trying to do activities with Em and Carter. I have also started babysitting a couple days a week. Then there is the beach. Any spare moment we have we're at the beach. We finally bought the children life jackets and boogie boards and they have magically turned into FISH!! Emily has become so daring as soon as her life jacket goes on she has no fear jumping off the dock and swimming around the buoys. Carter finally swims. He was so shy of the water and he has so much fun now that he feels safe in his life jacket. It's been fun. We bought Cohen this cute little crab he sits in the water. He was born a beach bum.

We are getting ready for our trip home. We are pretty excited. I could do without the drive but why should I complain when Justin is the one that has to drive through the mountains ahhh, I am nervous already. We are going to try something a little different and leave in the evening in hopes that the kids will sleep and me too. We have been living out here for 2 years now and I am still petrified of mountain driving. We are a little anxious leaving Justins mom behind. We have not been away from her long and it is hard to think she will be here all by herself. But we do need the break too. For those that do not know Justins mom is in a nursing home for dementia at the young age of 56. She has been sliding so fast and it has been so hard on us especially my husband who is the only child around.

Justin and I celebrated another wedding anniversary on the 10th. It was so much fun. We are at such a fun stage in our relationship. With Cohen it is still hard to leave sometimes so we make do at home and with going back to SK we wanted to wait until then to go out and have a romantic rendezvous. So we sipped on some Elephant Island wine (best wine ever) and watched Veggie Tales and then I had a snooze on the floor and then we folded some laundry and laughed and laughed and laughed at how funny our at home date night went.

So Thursday evening we leave and we should be in Marwayn AB Friday morn and we will be hanging out with my in laws there until the following Thursday then off to Turtle Lake for my grandparents 50th and then off to Waskesiu for my parents 20th anniversary of their store opening and then back home. So we will see you soon and as SOOOON as I find my camera I will link to more pictures but it has disappeared and hopefully I find it before we leave:(

Tata for now!!

I'm being kind of a booger blogger....

Sorry for neglecting the blog. I've been trying to upload photo's and I have too many I'm worried I'm going to crash the computer. Our world has been a whirlwind lately...a good whirlwind but so many changes.
Carter turned 5
Kindergarten Orientation
Emily's school beach bash
Epicure Party
Mommy group
Babysitting
Emily's Classroom awards and year end ceremony
Two wisdom extractions two different days (one today which is why I'm a little grouchy)
Emily's final day....she passed grade 3
Cohen started Walking and doing SO BIG on his own and climbing stairs...ahhhh
Justin and I are celebrating our anniversary soon...yay I'm so excited for our date out
Justin and I are also doing children's ministry this weekend together so fun. I don't think we have to do much cuz we're giving the regulars a break but still so much fun that we can do it together.
I promise to get my poop in a group and get some photo's up from Carter's birthday and everything since. It was sooooo much fun. I'm just not looking forward to sending him to kindergarten in the fall. Emily is going to try and get him as her little buddy which will be cute.
Well I'm going to go pop some T 3's now that my mouth is throbbing and hopefully sleep it off. I've been kind of sucky poopoo about my teeth lately. Oh well Justin bought me tons of icecream to make me feel better ;0)))

Parenting ~Rocks~

This week has been so much fun. Every week is fun but the kids were in neat little moods this week for some reason.

Carter was super duper huggy. Every time I turned around he was asking for a hug, and he'd say mom I just love hugging you. Tomorrow he graduates from preschool. I'll be posting pictures afterwards.

Emily is a little lady learning about emotions and feelings. She's learned once again just how much her dad is here to protect and love her. There is this bratty boy in the neighbourhood and he's rank to all the kids around here including Emily and Justin finally put him in his place in a nice fatherly type way and Emily was so proud. She just has so much trust and faith in him and it's so wonderful to see their father/daughter relationship grow. A father's loving guidance does so much for a little girl.

Cohen is in this snuggle mood too lately. He snuggles with the floor both carpet and lino and blankets and pillows and teddy's and all of us. Tonight he was a little out of sort and he could not get comfortable. Justin did his usual cuddle and I did my usual cuddle/breastfeed but no luck and he kept going back and forth and back and forth. So we all snuggled together while I fed him and he went fast asleep...he just needed a little mommy and daddy. So sweet.

How I cherish these moments....

9 Months Already

Our baby is becoming a big boy. The kids are all getting so big :0((

Hahaha Carter just told Emily he will give her a hundred bucks if she stays inside and plays with him. Too funny. I love listening to the kids.

A quick update:

Cohen had his 9mth checkup and he's a healthy baby weighing 20lbs. He's still super picky about food so I've opted to just make my own when I make supper for everyone else and it's not too bad. I bought a super sweet cuisinart mini chopper/blender and it rocks.

Emily is still madly in love (oh boy) but in love with caution. She went to bike safety the other day and made no mistakes so she wants to start riding her bike to school. Daddy doesn't want to let her do that quite yet...we're what you call over paranoid parents. But that's a good thing...to a point!!

Carter is going to be 5...FIVE...ahhhhhh. That means KINDERGARTEN IN SEPTEMBER. YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're planning a beach themed birthday party at the beach...so handy to have one down the street boy. There will be around 15 hyper boys but I don't care. He's been shafted on his previous birthdays except last years was a total hit. My sister and Justin put on a great birthday while I was on bedrest. Year before totally sucked so this year he's going to have a super rockin birthday.

Other than that life is great. Justin and I are totally geeking out on the Nintendo Wii. We got it on the weekend and to be totally honest I love it. Justin and I were playing this super fun surgical game, we were doctors and actually performed surgeries. What comes from that game is a realization I could never be a doctor and I have a higher appreciation for them.

Ta ta for now...

Cohen @ 9mths and favorite sitting position

Kids collected all our beer bottles and pop cans haha we're totally not into booze anymore as you can tell. We only got $3.50 for everything. Too funny but good slurpee's came of it

Wedding Bells

EMILY IS GETTING MARRIED......in 20 yrs
to the neighbour boy Riley Smith.

So our daughter and the neighbours boy Riley have been playing together since we've moved out here. Riley is one year older than Emily he's a sweet kid. At first it started off as a little friendship and now as Carter puts it...."it's love, they just look at eachother with love".

Riley picks Emmy up for school every morning and if he's late or unable to make it he calls ahead of time and then as soon as school is out they are inseparable. Just as of the past week Riley started calling Emily "Tootsie" and every time he rides his bike past our house he yells out "toot toot" "toot...tootsie" until she notices him then he smiles at her and rides off. So today after school they were playing truth or dare or double dare, or promises. Riley got the promise and he said "here's a promise for you Emily, I promise in 20 yrs to marry you" She was completely shocked and happy. She said "but Riley when we are in highschool you'll probably find a new girlfriend" He said "no you'll be my girlfriend and please don't ever move away because if you do I'll be sad and have to come and get you" She said "I won't move away but a lot can change in 20 yrs" hahahahaha Oh man and then she asked if they could have a sleepover WHAT?? Justin's eyes have completely bugged out at this point. Then she goes on to tell us that they were daring eachother but nothing dangerous she says only good things. So he dared her to hug him and she was all nervous so she only put one arm around him and he said...Emily both arms, I'd really like a hug. Then he dared her to hold his hand.

YIKES.....We as parents were expecting this in 20 yrs but not at age 8. It's cute but on the other hand we really need to be watching these two.

So Justin and I were thinking maybe we should invite our soon to be In-laws over for a drink and a "what the heck are your son's intentions" talk. ;)

We'll keep everyone posted as to the upcoming date (hopefully in 20yrs) I'm not even ready to start thinking about make up and mixed dances let alone wedding plans.

Boogies

So my son is into grossing people out...especially girls (not cool).
Today we were sitting down getting ready to play some family games when I notice Carter is picking his nose. I say "Carter stop picking" He says "no mom I love boogers....I really love boogers" .... I told him to go get a kleenex and he looks at me and says "but why when they taste as good as pizza." EWWWWWWWW.

For the record he is not a booger eater just a tricker well I have yet to see him actually eat a booger and I'll be so grossed out if he ever does.

Been a busy bee

Wow I'm finally sitting down. YAY!!!

Cohen has been keeping me on my toes. The little guy won't sleep but on the bright side of that is he's not cranky. See Cohen just cut his first tooth and his second one is going to cut through tonight or in the next few days. So it seems like when the tooth is right at the surface he won't sleep. But oh well at least he's not screaming right!!

So the past few weeks have been busy but a good blessed busy. First of all we had my mom and grandma out. Cohen was sick with an ear infection then what we thought was rubella but the test came back negative so it was just some weird viral infection and then cut his tooth. We had our friends from Saskatoon out for a visit, Mike Jackie and baby Julia. They left Wednesday morning. Oh what fun that was games, hardy falls, bbq's and the naramata festivities. Emily's May Pole dancing was a success. It was so adorable. The Mayday weekend was awesome. It was all centered around the children and making them feel like they are very important to the community. I just love living here. So we're taking this weekend to get caught up on housework and hopefully organize the garage and just spend some good quality family time. It is so hard when friends and family go we dip into a bit of a funk and we miss them all terribly so it will be good to just have some cuddle time fun time this weekend and think happy thoughts. And hopefully more family and friends will come out soon.

So I should give a little background on exactly what went down on Mayday. It's Naramata's centennial year so the theme was pioneer days. People dressed up just like they did 100 yrs ago. However 84 yrs ago Naramata started the village tradition of holding the may pole dance on Mayday. Sure sure some of you are wondering (but eewww isn't that a pagan celebration) it may have been once upon a time but not here in Naramata. They don't take it to that extreme. It's so cute. The little girls dress up and wear flower wreaths and the little boys wear suspenders and pioneer caps and they skip around the May Pole bowing to one another and make patterns on the pole with colorful ribbons. It's adorable. The grade 5's vote for a may queen and the rest of the grade 5 girls become the princesses so no one is left out. The Queen does a speech and then let's the festivities begin. We had a bag pipe band begin the procession and lead all the children to the center of all our attention. A little highland dancer did a number as well. They had bike decorating contests, and silver spoon races, soap box racing and much much more. Then in the evening was the Queen's Ball. The Queen and all the Princesses walk around the hall with their daddy's and do a special dance to the naramata waltz and then they had a littl ebit of folk dancing and it was topped off with a teen rock band. The kids had a blast dancing around and letting loose.

So I have some photo's of our happenings lately. They are gooders. Now I'm going to pleasantly sign off to enjoy a fine glass of wine and a bath and read Shopaholic and Baby.

Have a super-di-duper weekend!!

Better better better!!!!

Just to update everyone Cohen is 110% better. It's so nice to see him back to his normal self. It was such a scarey time for us. We've had our scares with Emmy, then Carter and now Cohen and we got through it then and we got through it now. I was just so happy today seeing all my kids running around getting into trouble and just being themselves. Life is back to normal. Cohen is cutting a tooth now but it's not giving him any grief. Thank goodness.

We have a fun weekend coming up with the Naramata May Day celebrations. It's the centennial year and the village has some pretty cool things happening. As usual it will kick off with our three float parade *snicker* (it's cute though) then we walk down to Manitou park and Emily will be participating in the Maypole dancing. She's dressing up all fancy with flowers in her hair. Carter's preschool is having a fundraising bake sale so I get to bake some thing yummy for that and try selling it (if I don't eat it first). Justin is going to attempt to get the garage all organized which I am excited for...yay we will be able to walk in it without tripping over 15 boxes. We also have some friends from Saskatoon visiting the area and they should be at our place any day. They have a little 6 mth old and it will be so cute to introduce their little baby with our baby.

Now that my caffeine high has worn off I should hit the hay. Here are a few photo's I took of Emmy and Carter on Mother's Day. Cohen was having a nice sleep finally so I was a nice mom and didn't bug him with the camera.

Nighty Night...

A Quickie

I don't have much time to post as the baby is not sleeping very long. But I thought I would do a quick update and post some pictures for you guys.
Last week my mom and grandma flew out for a visit. Cohen was sick with an ear infection so we spent a lot of time at home, but it was good we did a lot of visiting and just hanging out. They left on Tuesday and I'm missing them like crazy. It was so nice to have family around. OH well we'll be home soon, July is just around the corner.
Thursday morning the baby was showing signs of feeling better from the ear infection and then all of a sudden and I mean the snap of a finger I laid him down on the change table and his body started breaking out into spots...they were just popping out like popcorn. All of a sudden his entire body was covered head to toe in a matter f 5 minutes. We took him to the hospital right away and at first thought it was an allergic reaction to the meds he was on...(c'mon 7days later that's a little late) so I not being satisfied drove over to our family doc's and had him examined again. Conclusion to that was a virus of some sort and to just keep an eye on him but in hours the rash worsened and Cohen was screaming and crying and rolling all over the floor in discomfort so 7pm Thurs night I took him back to the ER and the doc's did some researching and a lot of examining and came up with Rubella. Cohen has had his immunizations up-to-date but he's not fully covered until he's 1yr. Poor guy has had such a rough week. Finally after 36 hrs of no sleep Cohen crashed last night at 7 for an hour and a half...phewfff Justin and I thought we were going to keel over let alone how the poor baby was feeling. This morning when Cohen woke up it looks like the rash is starting to heal downwards just like it started. His forehead and top of his head and his nose are clear and from his nose down he's covered so much that you can barely see the color of his flesh. The bumps are turning into large red welts that are hot to the touch. He feels feverish but when we take his temp he's fine. This is a crazy virus. We've taken him back to the doctor since and he said to just keep checking in with him and hopefully the virus will be gone in 3-5 days. Thank God we have a very compassionate doctor who communicates well with nervous parents because Justin and I have been so scared and just beside ourselves with worry and the doc just says keep coming in before or after hours so I can reassure you.
Here are some before and after pictures of Cohen and some pictures of my visit with my family.

I'm A Big Boy Now

EIGHT MONTHS OLD, can you believe it. Yikes time flies. Our little baby wants to be a BIG boy. He is everywhere, getting into everything. But I guess that's a good sign that he's developing wonderfully and he is a healthy munchkin. I think he will be walking in a month. He will stand holding onto something and now he's getting brave to take one hand off. Cohen is weighing in at 18 1/2 lbs. He still has his lil mohawk, it's so cute. What else is he doing these days.....well he is trying out new foods and he doesn't like much; cream corn, carrots, apricots and blueberries. I'm trying to get him to like a bottle (for those who don't know he did take a bottle in his first few months and then weaned himself off everything, soother, bottle and thumb) now he is taking the bottle so I can have some mommy time once in awhile. He got to spend some quality time with Aunti Kristin today and he took the bottle for her which is great news for me. I got to have some relaxing time at the DENTIST YUCK!!!! He did so good at her house I was so happy. I feel so fortunate to have someone here in BC to look after my children with such love and kindness. Cohen was the happiest baby and she played him out so he had a little sleep for me. yay.

Anyways my boys are ready for some play time and Emily just walked got home.

Here are a couple photo's
Cohen's 8mth picture and a few pictures of us on the dock down the street, we had a supper picnic the night of game 7 ...Vancouver won and my husband was pretty happy.

Till next time....

To tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth....

Oh I have to confess. I have a nasty horrible habit. One that may just need therapy.

I have a sweet tooth. Well and a salty tooth. I have a combo tooth.

Ok so I can't just eat a bag of chips I have to top it off with chocolate. I can't just eat supper and brush my teeth and go about my day I need a little sweetness to finish it all off. Then I feel complete.

...here comes the kicker

Oh but I go so far as sneaking into my children's candy stash. Indeed...a horribly mom I know but I can't help it. And sometimes I look at it as though I am doing them some good. If the candy just disappears then they can't eat it and get those awful sugar rushes or cavities (I havea gazillion) and Emily well she won't miss it. She still has Easter candy from LAST Easter. So I quietly sneak into their bedroom and grab one egg or two or a candy or two.

I think what would clearly solve my problem is chocolate flavoured toothpaste.....or therapy.

This and That

It's been a funny week. The kids are just cracking us up all day long. It's been fun because last week they were a little out of sorts after the grandparents left. They hate saying good bye and it just made them really unhappy all week. It didn't matter what we did to try to cheer them up or what we family activity we would do they were still unhappy. This week has been a nice change, they are much happier even though they are still missing all their grandparents.

It all started off with Cohen. He's been motoring and I mean EVERYWHERE and FAST. One day he's just crawling and by the next day he was up on furniture and now he's walking around things while holding on. He's into EVERYTHING. It's so funny to watch the determination in his little face. Now that he can get around he has all this freedom and by darndit he's going to explore. He has also become very very loud. At church on Sunday the Pastor was getting the congregation in the mood to pray and it was sooooo quiet until little Cohen pipes up and yells "DADDA DADADADADADADA". I guess yelling Dadda is better than the loud ruptures he used to blow in his diaper.

Then Carter. Oh boy this one has quite the imagination. He is truly gifted in storytelling. He used to hate the telephone and now he loves it. He wants to call everyone all day long. Today he started out by calling Grandpa Harold. He talked for quite sometime and so I thought he would be tired of gabbing and want to have some quiet time. NOPE he wanted to make his next call. So he called Grandma Tammy and wanted to talk to Papa and Uncle Nathan but they were all busy so he talked to Grandma. He was trying to persuade her to move on out it was funny. He was so detailed on how he looked at houses for them to buy and they were ready to move in. Then after he was off the phone he told me that grams and gramps would be flying on a gt jet plane right now and that it was going to land on our front lawn and not to be scared if I see a big plane outside. Then he called Auntie Jenna and Uncle Justin. Then he wanted to talk to Harold again so he called Grandpa back and he ended off the phone call by saying "love eachother because I love you". Then he talked to Uncle Justin. Oh it was funny. Now normally I wouldn't let him make this many phone calls but you have to understand he has never enjoyed talking to anyone on the phone so the fact that he was showing interest and was talking a lot made everyone happy so I thought it was harmless. After he was all done he came to me and Justin and said "did you know Uncle Nathan is visiting Auntie Jenna, and he farted on all her plates and now she has to do all her dishes and she has too much work to do...I can't believe that guy." hahaha as soon as he left the room Justin and I burst into hysterical laughter.

Then our little sweet girl made her daddy happy last night. It was the cutest. Now that Emily is getting older we really cherish these moments with her, when she asks for our "advice" it's fun. So Emily was walking home from school the other day with some boys and they were laughing at her TinkerBell backpack. She gets upset when people laugh at her (well really who doesn't) and so she came home and she cried a little and we told her to just keep her chin up and not let it show that it bugs her. Justin says to her that she is the prettiest little girl in the whole school and the best daughter in the whole world and that that's all that matters is how much daddy loves you. So she felt better and she proceeds to her room and she starts calling for daddy. So Justin went into her bedroom and she had a few outfits on the floor all planned out and she said "dad you have the best advice, can you pick my outfit out for tomorrow and because you picked it I will sure be the prettiest even if you just think so". So he picked out her outfit and she was so happy when she got up this morning and put on the outfit her dad picked out for her. It was a touching moment for Justin, I mean how many little girls want their dad's to pick out their school clothes.

Another plus this week. We were outside with the kids one afternoon picking up some garbage that had blown into the yard. We've been trying to teach the kids that not only does God want us to be kind to people but also to his land. So Emily and Carter grabbed a bunch of garbage bags and asked if they could pick up all the garbage around our street. So we went on our way and the kids picked a huge black bag full of garbage. There wasn't even a little plastic wrapper around. SO on our way home one of our neighbours approached us and asked if we wanted a new swingset. I was interested because we were looking at getting a second swingset since we have so many kids in our yard and mom's group and just the fact that we are planning for more children so we need a little more than two swings and the swings on our old swingset needed to be replaced. So I asked for more info and how much they wanted and what it came down to was they wouldn't accept money for it so in exchange for a bottle of wine, the swingset was ours. What a deal!! Emily then says see mom all sorts of wonderful things happen when we do good things. The kids were so happy. So we are going to find some baby swings to put on the one swingset. Friends of ours are expecting a baby and I can't wait to share time outside with our babies and push them in swings together.

Well I better go geek out with my hubby. He got a new tech book today and he's dying to tell me all about it. HOnestly I have no clue what he is talking about but I love the fact that he can share and have the patience to share it with me. OOhhhh and chips for the occasion haha...I can definitely listen to the tech talk if there is chips involved.

So until next time....
Have a wonderful week. God Bless!!

An Egg-siting Weekend

Happy Easter Everyone!!

This weekend was so much fun. My in-laws were visiting from Marwayne AB, Grandpa Harold and Grandma Paulette. Friday started out with some outdoor fun and Real Things Pizza from the village. I do have to say it is the best pizza EVER. Saturday started out with a walk down to Manitou Park (a couple blocks away) and we gathered around with all the other children and parents in the village, we all watched a helicopter fly overhead and drop ping pong balls. Then all the children ran out to find and collect as many as possible. Emily and Carter worked as a team and collected 10, then off they went to trade them in for Easter treats. What a super fun time we had.

The afternoon brought more fun. Paulette, Emily and I went to the village play "Robinson's Rainbow" a little something to celebrate the centennial year. The boys stayed home and did their guy stuff. I was so nervous leaving Cohen because he weaned himself off a bottle months ago but he finally took one. I was so happy to come home and Justin had good things to say about the baby. I was worried he would have cried for mommy the whole time. Now maybe I can go and get my hair done.

Sunday morning started off with some pretty happy lil ones. Em and Carter ran outside at 7:30 in the AM to search for some eggs left by Mr. Bunny and then inside for another egg hunt and then on to the candy. It was Cohen's first Easter and he got a fun lil toy. It was so fun to see the kids so excited and to share it with their grandparents was even better. We had our turkey dinner for lunch and for supper we had turkey salad buns. This was the first year we did it like that and I much rather it than having our turkey for supper. We were able to have the entire day to visit and play and just do whatever instead of spending the whole time in the kitchen. Thanks to Gramma she ran the show. I felt so spoiled.

Today Grams and Gramps left. It was such a sad day in the Seitz home. Em and Carter cried and cried and then they just sat so still and did nothing and then everyone was a little touchy and cranky. Grandparents are so special and I wish they could all live right next door.

So this week I have been invited for coffee and then we have a few appointments and when I'm not runnin around I will be enjoying the weather. It's been so nice here. Fruit blossoms are blooming and it smells so fruity here. I love it. I wish I could capture the smell and post it on the blog. I just got news that my grandma and my mom are flying out beginning of May. I'm so excited. Hmm come to think of it I wonder how many times I used the word excited in this post (hahaha).
Here are some photos from the past week and weekend.
Enjoy, God Bless and Happy Easter!!

YAY!!

I think we're on our way to having the baby back on schedule. Yesterday Cohen had his nap in the morning and nap in the afternoon. I was so happy to finally get some housework done and playtime in with the kids. Then he went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 3:30 and well then he was up to play but at 4:30 I finally had enough and was so tired so I brought him into bed and he snuggled up to daddy and was sound asleep in about two minutes. SO NICE!!! YAY I'm rested today! Cohen was on this schedule a few weeks ago but when he got sick his schedule went out the window. I just hope it stays like this.

Our holidays are officially booked for this summer. Double YES. July 20-Aug 6. I'm anxiously looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'll write more later, take more photos but for now I'm going to enjoy my quiet time and a coffee or two before the babe wakes up.

Sleepless in Naramata

I'm still up and it's about 2 in the AM. Cohen has been off lately and not sleeping very well. I'm not sure if it's teething or growing pains or a little of both. Carter has also been not sleeping well lately either, however Justin and Emily sleep so peacefully I wish I was them at the moment. So I just got Cohen to bed for the 3rd time and I'm having trouble winding down....must have to do with the coffee Justin made me at 7 this evening. Now normally I won't drink coffee in the evening but I was so tired I thought I should. Not gonna do that again.

Anyways I thought I better post a link to a slide show of pictures I have taken recently of all the kids. I added more pictures than the length of the song so I kinda screwed it up a little but it still looks good. Enjoy the photo's!!

"How Sweet It Is to Be Loved By You"

Living life, being a wife, and being a mother... in one word... SWEETNESS!!

I've been troubled lately by the world, people around me, people I know, and people I don't know. Have you noticed but people smile less, people are grumpy, complain, whine, take for granted what the Lord set for us to do on this earth. LOVE, RESPECT, KINDNESS, PATIENCE and APPRECIATION. It really saddens me to see people not enjoy life, it really does. I feel like shouting out to them and nudging them and saying...c'mon, is it really that bad. NO. It's not that bad. It's never that bad. I've been at a point in my life where it was my own hell and I had to climb out of it and change and make it right and I know that life is pretty damn sweet.

I get to wake up every morning and have my husband kiss me and tell me he loves me and have my children run around "mommy mommy...we love you". That's all I need. God gave me a choice, a choice to live a troubled and dark life or live a life of loving the Lord and having happiness and appreciating everything. I even appreciate the gooey cream cheese on my cinnamon roll.

We're all going to have mountains we need to climb but do we focus on the pain and disappointment or do we focus on the journey and look forward to the outcome. Why make other people feel bad just cuz you're having a bad day. Why frown when we can smile. Did you know it takes more effort to be negative than to be happy. Really. I've tried it!! It's tiring. What's so wrong with driving a little slower because of an elder behind the wheel in front of you, passing isn't really going to get you that much farther, why scowl at a child because of a little spilled milk...adults spill too, why complain making a gourmet meal for friends and family at least we get to eat and eat all day if we want.

For those who are struggling out there ....get ur gotch on, eat a mouth watering cinnimon roll and look at your loved ones around you and then put your hand on your heart and thank the Lord for the sweetness in your life........the happiness might just last a lifetime.

LOVE LOVE LOVE.....and fricking giggle dammit!! ;0)
P.S. I'm not trying to complain (haha) as I read back on my post, I'm just trying to shed some light.

Wussup sup?

Cohen is just a scooting around a lot now. He loves to crawl under the coffee table and stay there. Emily says it's his little fort. Carter is becoming more and more social, he's getting a lot of lil friends around the village. Emily's school is auctioning off all the kids art work on friday so Emily said maybe we can bid 21 dollars on her monster picture. I think it will be a fun and unique school fundraiser. I am looking forward to it.
I'm off to a pampered chef party tonight. I get so tired after running around from the kids all day that my nights I like to curl up on the couch and watch a flick and do a little laundry, it's really hard to motivate myself to go out in the evening, but tonightI'm pushing myself out. It's time for a little girly time. Justin is going to get things ready for his friend that's coming. We are SOOOO excited to have a visitor from back home. I want visitors all the time but NO BODY comes.. HINT HINT....people it's time to start visiting out here.
What else is new around here...hmmm well we went to our first bible study last night and that was a lot of fun. We're definitely returning for another gathering. Our Pastor invited us to Apex to go tubing on the mountain I am so sad that I have to call and take a raincheck. Cohen has his immunization that day and he always has a reaction so I don't think travelling with him is a good idea that and Justin has to run another guy's team at work because of a death in the family. So I'm sure apex isn't going anywhere anytime soon and we'll head up there hopefully before the snow is gone. We are snow free down in the Okanagan. It's great. I love the smell of spring. Anyways Cohen is making his way back under the coffee table so I better run.
Here are some photo's to enjoy.....

Dreamin' bout the golden boogie.

Beautified n ready for bed.

Em's my big helper.....happily cleaning her closet.

Cohen has been trying to get these animals since day one....he finally succeeded and he was a happy boy!
